The cost for players in PeeWee  is $80, Minors through Major League is $90, Juniors is $100, and includes the fee for a Little League uniform rental. T-Ball cost is $50 and includes a team t-shirt.

The PDF forms (Acrobat Reader required) referenced below will speed your registration process. Print out the completed forms and bring them to registration.

1. Determine your child’s level of play in the Dubuque Little League. This is based upon their age as of May 1. A text age chart or matrix version is provided – and should be used to assist you. The Dubuque Little League is structured as follows:

   • T-Ball is for children aged 5 or 6.

   • PeeWee League is coach-pitched baseball designed for children ages 7 and 8.

   • Minor League is the start of real baseball and the players do the pitching. It is recommended that children be age 9 or 10.

   • Major League is more advanced with better skilled players. Players can be ages 10-12, but we recommend that primarily 11 and 12 year olds play at this level.  Determination will be made by the board of directors and division commissioner with consultation from coaches, as to whether a 10 year old will be allowed to play in the majors.

   • At Junior League, the size of the field increases and follows virtually all of the rules of baseball. This league is for ages 13 – 15.

   NOTE: Players will be placed in a league based upon their age UNLESS requested otherwise by their parent/guardian. Players may play up or down alevel, but cases will be reviewed on an individual basis by the Player Agent and President of each charter region. Safety considerations and the best interest of the player are typically the key determining factors in moving a player to a league in a different age group level.

2. Complete the ONLINE REGISTRATION

3. Complete the Little League medical release form.

4. Also at registration, uniform samples will be available so that together we can determine the correct size for their uniform.

5. We are also in need of volunteers. If you would like to coach a team or volunteer in some other way, please complete the ONLINE REGISTRATION .

Field Measurements

1. Little League (Major & Minor)

   • Base line – 60 ft.

   • Pitching Distance – 46 ft.

   • Outfield fence – 200 ft. from home plate (recommended)

   
   

2. Junior, Senior and Big League

   • Base lines – 90 ft.

   • Pitching distance – 60 ft. 6 in.

   • Outfield fence – 300 ft. (Modified field size permitted for Junior/Senior Leagues)
